Breakfast - for some the most important meal of the day. Start your day right and have a breakfast rich in nutrients. The perfect option is porridge which is simple, quick and really tasty. We’ve freshened up the recipe and replaced oats by the superfood quinoa.
Ingredients for the Quinoa Porridge
Amy Almond (or regular almond milk)
Your favourite fruits
Your favourite nuts
Preparation of the quinoa porridge
First, you portion the desired amount of quinoa in a pot and blend it with Amy Almond. The almond drink should cover up the whole quinoa but you can add more liquid later on, depending on the consistency you prefer. Until your quinoa is cooked, you wash and chop your fruit of choice. We are using banana, kiwi and blueberries, but you can choose whatever fruit you have on hand.
Pour the finished porridge in a bowl and decorate it with fruits, nuts and seeds. Porridge tastes best when it’s still warm.
