Our chocolate pleasure - not a sin at all!
Brownies are the cheat food for everyone. Heaps of chocolate and sugar, the typical American cake is incredibly tasty but makes us feel a bit guilty afterwards. Therefore, we thought of a recipe that tastes as good but is healthy and guilt free. Brownies with kidney beans and our sweet Amy Almond. Sounds interesting, tastes amazing!
Ingredients for the Brownies
100 ml Amy Almond
500g Kidney beans
100g (gluten free) Oats
1tsp backing soda
A bit of salt
6tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 tsp vanilla
50ml coconut oil
100g apple puree
10 tbsp agave syrup
1 tbsp chia seeds in 3 tbsp water
50g dark chocolate drops (optional)
3 tbsp chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation of the vegan Brownies
Preheat the oven to 175°C (fan forced).
It is easiest to prepare the brownies in a blender but it also works with a hand-held blender. First grind the oats and let the chia seeds soak in water. Then wash the kidney beans and blend them with the other ingredients. Try to get rid of all small pieces. Oil a form and pour in the dough. Bake in oven for about 15 to 30 minutes. Enjoy!!
